"I've had many specialists in my classroom.  On Lynda's first visit I was skeptical. Over the past year she has proven to be an irreplacable source of information. My deafblind student used to sleep most of the day.  He would curl up in a ball and tune everyone out.  Lynda has modeled relationship-building and communication techniques for my deafblind student. Now, he WANTS to explore.  He is now communicating using tactile sign language.  He is becoming literate using braille. His life has been changed."

Testimonials

"Lynda's manner was always professional balanced by warmth, openness, and ease.  This style was appreciated by the aides, who commented to me that they learned a lot from her without feeling intimidated by her.

            June J., Teacher

"Lynda has educated teachers, paraprofessionals, teaching assistants, other therapists, parents and administrators in how to best provide services to visually and hearing impaired students...  Firm, but caring, Lynda managed to get even the most difficult students to comply with her therapy techniques."

"The information you provided was a big help. Thanks for everything.  It really meant a great deal to us when we were pretty much in the dark."

           K.G., Parent

"Lynda has worked with 3 and 4 year old children with severe multiple special needs in addition to blindness.  Lynda's genuine care, deep interest and expert skill were immediately evidenced in her handling and work with them."

"I am a new teacher in an inclusive classroom.  In my classroom there are children whose range of abilities vary

greatly.  Included in my class is a child who is deaf and blind.  Lynda Goetz is the educational consultant who is working with the child who is deaf and blind.  Her assistance and advice is invaluable for several reasons.  She is currently training the child's one-on-one in organizing his day to enable him to reach his optimal potential.
